Anti-vaccination protests continue in France!

Anti-vaccination protests continue in France. Under the leadership of the far-right Les Patriotes (Patriots), thousands of people gathered in the Trocadero Square opposite the world-famous Eiffel Tower in the capital Paris, protesting the government's making the Covid-19 vaccine card mandatory to enter public places. The demonstrators, who frequently called on President Emmanuel Macron to resign, were also supported by far-right groups. It was seen that extreme right-wing groups asked members of the press in the region to protest about the institution they work for.

On the other hand, in the demonstration held last week, two journalists working for France's official news agency AFP were battered by the demonstrators.

VACCINE CARD IMPLEMENTATION ENTERED INTO FORCE ON 24 JANUARY

In France, the Covid-19 vaccine card will be issued to visitors in hospitals and nursing homes, and to hospitals and nursing homes, as well as to restaurants, bars, cafes, weddings, seminars, trade fairs, as well as long-distance public transport by train, plane and bus, from January 24. It was made mandatory for non-patients. Negative PCR test results were not accepted in order to access these places.
